Very rare watch, sold at auction by “Monaco Legend” on 23 April 2023, with a matte black dial with the personal red signature of former Syrian President Hafiz al-Asad.
Hafiz al-Asad - the longest-serving President in power in Syria, former general of the Syrian Air Force and high-ranking member of the Baathist party, thanks to him, his country experienced a stable and consolidated phase of institutional life after decades of coups - had personally worn this extraordinary watch for several years, and then donated it to one of his closest collaborators.
